Wisdom comes too late

 I just finished the Hobbit movies. It made me sad, so I had to ponder why. It took me back to my bedroom as a teenager studying fantasy art and dreaming of becoming an illustrator and comic book artist. Then Denver and Sheri sidetracked me. I look back at 54 years and realize my dreams have gone to the way side as I fall into relationship after relationship. Today, on my birthday, I realize the one thing God wants from me and I desperately need from him is the one thing I always got wrong with everyone else, and it stole my dreams. Relationship. My flesh, this world and the devil himself twisted God’s plan to complete me. Wisdom comes too late, and can be very harsh.
